IV Infusions

What is IV therapy?

IV therapy is a wellness treatment that delivers fluids, vitamins, and nutrients directly into your bloodstream for fast, effective absorption. It’s designed to support hydration, energy, immunity, and overall well-being.

Is IV therapy safe?

Yes, IV therapy is administered by a licensed, experienced nurse with high standards, you can feel cared for. Each treatment is tailored to your needs and follows strict safety protocols.

Does IV therapy hurt?

Most clients experience little to no discomfort. A soft, flexible catheter is gently placed into a vein—usually in your arm—by a skilled nurse. The process is quick and designed to be as comfortable as possible.

How long does a session take?

Each IV therapy session typically lasts about 60 minutes. You’ll be able to relax in the space of your choice,  while your body receives the nutrients it needs.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Stay hydrated and eat a light meal beforehand. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your arms. If you have any concerns, let Nurse Merce know before the session begins. This is YOUR time, relax, minimize distractions (animals), and get comfortable!

How will I feel afterward?

Many clients report feeling refreshed, energized, and more balanced after their session. Results may vary depending on your body’s needs and the type of infusion you receive.

Can I choose what’s in my IV drip?

Yes! I offer a variety of IV blends tailored to different wellness goals—such as immunity support, energy boost, recovery, and hydration. I would be happy to help you choose the best option for your needs.

GLP-1

What are GLP-1 medications?

GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) medications are a class of injectable treatments that help regulate blood sugar, control appetite, and slow digestion. Originally developed for type 2 diabetes, GLP-1 medications are now widely used for medical weight management. Common GLP-1 medications include Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.

There is a slight difference between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.  Think of Semaglutide as a 1-signal medication. It works on one hormone receptor in your body: GLP-1. Tirzepatide is a 2-signal medication. It works on two hormone receptors: GLP-1 and GIP. By working on 2 hormone receptors, it results in stronger appetite control and often more weight loss.

How do GLP-1 medications help with weight loss?

GLP-1s work by mimicking natural hormones that help control appetite, slow digestion, and regulate blood sugar. This leads to feeling full sooner and staying satisfied longer — supporting steady, sustainable weight loss when combined with healthy habits.

Who is a good candidate for GLP-1 therapy?

Adults with a BMI of 25 or higher and want medical support for weight loss. A consultation and health screening with Nurse Merce will determine if this treatment is safe and appropriate for you. A $25 video visit with a licensed healthcare provider every 3 months is required.

How is GLP-1 therapy administered?

GLP-1 medications are given as a small subcutaneous (under the skin) injection, usually once per week. At Nurse Merce Mobile IV, we provide education on how to self-administer and offer guided support for your injections.

How soon will I see results?

Most clients begin noticing reduced appetite within the first few weeks, with measurable weight loss typically appearing within 4–8 weeks. Results vary based on dosage, metabolism, and lifestyle factors.

Are there side effects?

Common side effects may include nausea, mild stomach discomfort, constipation, or fatigue, especially when starting or increasing doses. These symptoms usually improve as your body adjusts. Together, we monitor your response closely and provide guidance to minimize discomfort.

Do I need to change my diet or exercise?

Yes — while GLP-1s help control appetite and cravings, the best results come from pairing treatment with healthy nutrition, hydration, and movement. I'll support you with practical lifestyle guidance to enhance your progress.

How long will I need to stay on GLP-1 therapy?

Treatment duration varies by individual goals and response. Many clients use GLP-1s for several months to achieve target results. or once your BMI falls under 25, you will work with our team to transition to a sustainable maintenance plan.

Are GLP-1 medications safe?

When prescribed and monitored by a licensed provider, GLP-1s are considered safe and effective. They should not be used by people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2 (Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2).

What’s included in the cost?

The program includes your medication, shipping, supplies, and ongoing support. Medication pricing varies by dosage and brand, and we’re transparent about all costs before you begin. A $25 provider tele health visit is required at the start of treatment and every 3 months until you are off treatment.

Vitamin Injections

What are vitamin injections?

Vitamin injections deliver essential vitamins directly into your muscle (IM), allowing your body to absorb them quickly and efficiently—much faster than taking vitamins by mouth.

What are the benefits of vitamin injections?

Benefits vary based on the vitamin but may include:

  • Increased energy
  • Improved mood
  • Better immune support
  • Enhanced metabolism
  • Healthier skin, hair, and nails
  • Faster recovery from stress or illness

How long does the injection take?

Most vitamin injections take less than 5 minutes. It’s quick, simple, and convenient.

How soon will I feel the effects?

Some people feel the effects immediately, while others notice changes over a few hours or days depending on their body and the vitamin used.

How long do the benefits last?

Benefits typically last 1–2 weeks, depending on metabolism, hydration, and lifestyle.

Are vitamin injections safe?

Yes. When administered by a licensed professional using sterile techniques, vitamin injections are very safe. I review your medical history to ensure the injection is right for you.

Can I get more than one injection at a time?

Yes! Many clients pair injections for enhanced results. I can help you choose the best combination for your goals.

Do vitamin injections hurt?

Most clients feel only a small pinch. It's typically less uncomfortable than a standard vaccination.

Who cannot get vitamin injections?

People with certain medical conditions or allergies may not be good candidates. A brief screening helps us determine if it’s safe for you.

How often should I get vitamin injections?

Frequency depends on your goals. Many clients come weekly, while others get injections as needed for energy or immune support.

Can I get vitamin injections if I'm on medication?

Usually yes, but I always review your medications to avoid any interactions.

Do I need a consultation?

A quick consultation is included to make sure the injection is safe and appropriate for you.

Sermorelin peptide Therapy

What is Sermorelin Therapy?

Sermorelin is a specialized Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide (GHRP) that stimulates your pituitary gland to naturally increase production of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) and IGF-1.

Who is Sermorelin ideal for?

Sermorelin is best suited for active individuals or athletes with a lower BMI who want to:

  • Lose the final 5–15 pounds
  • Build lean muscle
  • Improve recovery and overall performance

What are the key benefits of Sermorelin Therapy?

  • Body Composition : Promotes fat loss while increasing protein synthesis to support lean muscle growth.
  • Enhanced Recovery: Helps accelerate recovery from injuries and strenuous workouts.
  • Restorative Sleep: Improves deep, slow-wave sleep, supporting memory, repair, and overall recovery.
  • Vitality & Wellness: May improve libido, mood, and insulin sensitivity.

When will I see results?

Internal benefits often begin early. Visible fat loss and body composition changes typically appear within 30–45 days.

Nicotinamide Riboside (NR/Niagen)

How is NR different from a standard Vitamin B3 supplement?

While NR is a form of Vitamin B3, it is uniquely efficient at boosting NAD+ levels. Unlike niacin, NR doesn't typically cause the uncomfortable "flushing" sensation and is more easily converted by your body into the coenzymes needed for cellular repair.

How soon will I feel the effects of NR?

Many clients report improved mental clarity and more stable energy levels within the first week. However, the "heavy lifting"—such as DNA repair and metabolic optimization—happens at a cellular level and is most effective with consistent use.

Why choose NR over an NAD+ IV drip?

Traditional NAD+ IVs can be time-consuming (often taking 2–4 hours) and can cause side effects like chest pressure or nausea. NR is a "cell-permeable" precursor, meaning it enters the cell more comfortably. It offers a 75% reduction in clinic time and a 90% reduction in side effects while still effectively raising your NAD+ levels.

Is there anyone who shouldn't take NR?

NR is generally very well tolerated. However, if you have a history of cancer or genetic predisposition, history of sever heart failure, multiple medicated hypertension, active bleeding, thrombocytopenia, active gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, uncontrolled diabetes, are pregnant, nursing, or being treated for a chronic medical condition, we always require a brief consultation with our medical team first.
